Privacy Policy for Dash: My Virtual Pet Dog
Effective date: 31 July 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how information is processed in connection with the Android game Dash: My Virtual Pet Dog (the “Game”), including its age screen, advertising, Google Play purchases and subscriptions, Android backup and restore, pre-registration reward, support communications, and related pages on the Hypnotizing.Games website.
The Game is officially distributed through Google Play and is intended for players of all ages, including children and teenagers. It does not require a player account.
1. Data controller
The controller responsible for the processing described in this Privacy Policy is:
Artur Łaczek, trading as Hypnotizing.Games
Pokrzywna 3
48-267 Jarnołtówek
Poland
Email: contact@hypnotizing.games
In this Privacy Policy, “Developer,” “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to the controller identified above.
2. Scope and third-party services
This Privacy Policy applies to:
- use of the Game;
- the neutral age screen and advertising privacy choices;
- rewarded advertisements provided through Google AdMob;
- one-time purchases and subscriptions processed through Google Play Billing;
- Android backup, restore, and device transfer;
- the Google Play pre-registration reward;
- support and privacy requests sent by email; and
- the Game’s privacy-policy and pre-registration-reward pages on hypnotizing.games.
The separate terms governing the pre-registration reward are available at:
https://hypnotizing.games/pre-registration-rewards-terms-and-conditions/
Google independently processes information through Google Play, Google Play Billing, Google AdMob, the Google User Messaging Platform, Android backup services, and Android Vitals. Google may act as an independent controller for some of that processing. Google’s privacy information is available at:
3. Audience, age screen, and age treatment
The Game is intended for a mixed audience and may be used by children, teenagers, and adults. Before advertising services are initialized, the Game displays a neutral age screen asking:
How old is the person who will play this game? We use this to make the game suitable for the player and apply the right privacy settings.
The player can select an age from 1 to 120. The Game does not verify the selected age and does not send the exact selected age to the Developer or to Google.
The selected age is used to apply the following advertising and consent settings:
| Selected age | Google advertising treatment | Under-age-of-consent signal |
|---|---|---|
| 1–12 | CHILD | Enabled |
| 13–15 | TEEN | Enabled |
| 16–17 | TEEN | Disabled |
| 18 or older | UNSPECIFIED | Disabled |
For CHILD treatment, Google disables personalized advertising and remarketing, applies child-directed ad protections, and does not transmit the Android Advertising ID for the affected ad request. For TEEN treatment, Google disables personalized advertising and remarketing and applies teen ad protections. UNSPECIFIED means that no child or teen treatment signal is applied; it does not by itself mean that personalized advertising will be used.
The maximum AdMob advertisement content rating is set to G for all players, regardless of selected age.
The exact selected age is stored only in a separate local privacy file. It is excluded from Android backup and is removed when the Game is uninstalled or its local data is cleared. A player will therefore be asked to select an age again after reinstalling the Game.
4. Information processed
4.1 Local Game data
The Game may store gameplay and configuration information in its private application storage, including progress, virtual-currency balances, friendship level, wardrobe items, equipped wardrobe items, settings, reward status, chest timing or availability, and premium entitlement status needed to provide Game features.
The Game does not require or provide:
- a Developer-operated player account;
- in-game chat or free-form social communication;
- collection of the player’s real name, postal address, telephone number, contacts, photographs, or voice recordings;
- camera, microphone, contacts, or precise-location access; or
- Firebase Analytics, Firebase Crashlytics, or another separate analytics SDK.
We do not receive or have access to information that remains only in the Game’s local storage unless a user voluntarily includes it in a support request.
4.2 Android backup, restore, and device transfer
The Game uses Android’s built-in backup system. If backup is enabled in the user’s Android or Google Account settings, Android may copy eligible Game data to Google’s backup service and may restore it after reinstallation or on another compatible device. Android may also transfer eligible data directly between devices.
The Game intentionally allows the following progress data to be included in backup or device transfer:
- coin balance;
- diamond balance;
- friendship level;
- obtained wardrobe items; and
- equipped wardrobe items.
The following data is excluded from the Game’s Android backup configuration:
- the selected age;
- locally stored Google UMP consent and privacy-choice values; and
- purchase tokens and locally cached purchase or subscription entitlement information.
Backup is periodic and is not continuous real-time synchronization. The Developer does not operate Google’s backup service, control when an individual backup occurs, or have access to the contents of a user’s backup. Availability and restoration depend on Android, Google, the user’s account and device settings, device compatibility, available backup capacity, and the Game’s backup rules.
Google provides more information at:

- https://developer.android.com/identity/data/autobackup
4.3 Advertising and Google User Messaging Platform
The Game uses the Google Mobile Ads SDK through Google AdMob to display rewarded advertisements only. The Game does not use AdMob mediation or another advertising network.
Advertisements are not requested until the player has completed the age screen, the applicable Google privacy-message process has completed, and the Google SDK reports that advertisements may be requested.
Depending on the selected age, region, consent choices, device settings, and Google’s configuration, Google may process or receive:
- IP address, which may be used to estimate approximate location such as country, region, or city;
- device or other identifiers, where permitted by the applicable age treatment and privacy settings;
- Game and advertisement interactions, such as ad requests, impressions, taps, rewarded-ad completion, and app activity associated with advertising;
- device, application, and operating-system information;
- crash logs, diagnostics, performance data, and fraud-prevention signals; and
- information used to provide, measure, secure, limit, or personalize advertising where legally permitted.
The Game uses Google’s User Messaging Platform (UMP) and AdMob Privacy & messaging configuration for applicable European and US-state privacy messages. Where the under-age-of-consent signal is enabled, Google suppresses the European consent message. For eligible users, the message may allow consent, refusal, or management of individual options.
For users treated as children or teenagers, personalized advertising and remarketing are disabled. For users aged 18 or older, Google may serve personalized advertisements only where permitted by applicable law, Google’s policies and settings, and the user’s privacy choices. If personalized advertising is not permitted or the user does not consent where consent is required, Google may provide non-personalized or limited advertisements.
When Google indicates that an in-app privacy-options entry point is required, the Game provides an Ad privacy choices control in its privacy settings so the user can review or change available advertising choices. The Game also provides a separate link to this Privacy Policy from the start screen and through the in-game phone menu under Settings → Privacy → Privacy Policy.
The Game’s advertising integration is implemented through a PloxTools plugin. The plugin developer has confirmed that PloxTools plugins do not collect or send telemetry or user data. Google SDKs may process information as described above.
4.4 Google Play purchases, subscriptions, and pre-registration reward
The Game offers two premium purchase options through Google Play Billing:
- a one-time purchase; and
- a recurring subscription.
Both options provide the same premium Game benefits. These include removing all advertisements while the purchase or subscription is active, making advertisement-gated chests available without watching advertisements, reducing the time between chest openings, and reducing the Game’s sleep duration. The Game does not sell coin or diamond packs.
Google Play processes payment details, purchase history, subscription status, account information, country or region, taxes, refunds, and payment verification under Google’s own terms and privacy policy. The Developer does not receive the user’s Google password or complete payment-card details.
To complete and maintain purchases, the Game may receive or process on the device:
- product identifiers;
- purchase and subscription status;
- purchase time;
- acknowledgement status;
- purchase tokens or verification values; and
- entitlement, renewal, cancellation, expiration, refund, or revocation status made available by Google Play.
The Game’s Google Play Billing integration uses a PloxTools plugin. The plugin developer has confirmed that the plugin does not collect or transmit telemetry or user data. Purchase processing connects to Google Play Billing. The Developer does not operate a purchase-verification server and does not send purchase tokens or entitlement records to a Developer-controlled backend.
Purchase tokens and locally cached purchase or subscription entitlement information are excluded from Android backup. The Game may query Google Play to confirm whether the one-time premium purchase is owned or whether a subscription remains active.
The pre-registration reward consists of 1,000 in-game coins and 10 in-game diamonds and is available only to eligible users under the separate pre-registration reward terms. Google Play may process eligibility and reward-related information. An internet connection may be required to verify and deliver the reward.
4.5 Android Vitals and Google Play Console
The Developer does not use Firebase Analytics or a separate analytics service. Google Play may collect technical quality information from Android users who have enabled the sharing of usage and diagnostic information. The Developer may receive reports or aggregated metrics through Android Vitals in Play Console, including:
- crash and application-not-responding reports;
- stack traces and related technical details;
- device model, Android version, and Game version;
- stability, performance, battery, loading, rendering, or frame-rate metrics; and
- other diagnostics used to identify technical problems and improve the Game.
Google controls the collection and retention of this information under its own settings and policies. The Developer uses Android Vitals only for technical operation, debugging, security, and improvement of the Game, not for behavioral advertising or creation of player profiles.
4.6 Support correspondence
There is no in-game chat or support form. If a user, parent, or guardian contacts us at contact@hypnotizing.games, we process the information voluntarily included in the email, which may include:
- sender name and email address;
- message contents and attachments;
- screenshots;
- device model, Android version, Game version, language, or country or region;
- purchase or subscription information supplied to investigate a problem; and
- technical details supplied by the sender.
We cannot reliably determine a sender’s age from an email address. Users should not provide information that is unnecessary for the request, and children should ask a parent or guardian to contact us on their behalf.
4.7 Website information
The relevant pages on hypnotizing.games use WordPress and are hosted by:
SEOHOST Sp. z o.o.
ul. Obornicka 330
60-689 Poznań
Poland
When a person visits the website, the website or hosting provider may process basic technical information, including IP address, browser and device type, requested page, time of access, referring page, and server or security logs. This information is used to provide, protect, maintain, and troubleshoot the website.
At the effective date of this Privacy Policy, we do not intentionally use Google Analytics, advertising pixels, heatmaps, or other non-essential analytics or advertising tracking on the relevant pages. WordPress, the hosting environment, or security systems may use strictly necessary technical cookies or similar storage required for administration, security, session handling, or essential website operation.
Information about SEOHOST’s privacy practices is available at:
https://seohost.pl/polityka-prywatnosci
5. Purposes and legal bases
Where the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), UK GDPR, or similar law applies, the following legal bases may apply:
| Purpose | Information | Legal basis |
|---|---|---|
| Provide and operate the Game and save local progress | Local Game data | Performance of a contract or steps requested by the user; legitimate interests in operating and improving the Game where applicable |
| Apply age-appropriate privacy and advertising settings | Selected age and derived age-treatment category | Compliance with legal and platform obligations; legitimate interests in protecting younger users; performance of a contract |
| Provide Android backup and restore | Eligible Game progress processed by Google | Performance of a contract or steps requested by the user; Google determines its legal bases for its independent processing |
| Display rewarded advertisements | AdMob data | Consent where legally required; otherwise legitimate interests where permitted, subject to age-treatment and privacy restrictions |
| Measure ads, prevent fraud, and secure advertising services | Ad interactions, identifiers where permitted, diagnostics, and security signals | Legitimate interests in service security, fraud prevention, and operation; compliance with legal and platform obligations |
| Process purchases, subscriptions, and rewards | Google Play purchase, entitlement, and reward data | Performance of a contract; compliance with legal obligations; legitimate interests in preventing fraud and duplicate delivery |
| Diagnose crashes and technical issues | Android Vitals and diagnostic information | Legitimate interests in maintaining the Game’s stability, security, and performance |
| Respond to support and privacy requests | Support correspondence | Performance of a contract; compliance with legal obligations; legitimate interests in assisting users and resolving disputes |
| Operate and secure the website | Website logs and technical information | Legitimate interests in providing, maintaining, and securing the website |
| Retain records required by law or for claims | Relevant transaction, support, and security records | Compliance with legal obligations; legitimate interests in establishing, exercising, or defending legal claims |
Where processing is based on consent, consent can be withdrawn through the available Ad privacy choices control. Withdrawal does not affect processing that occurred before withdrawal.
6. Advertising choices
The Game does not request advertisements before applying the age and consent settings described in Section 3.
- Players aged 1–12 receive CHILD treatment and are marked as under the age of consent.
- Players aged 13–15 receive TEEN treatment and are marked as under the age of consent.
- Players aged 16–17 receive TEEN treatment.
- Players aged 18 or older receive UNSPECIFIED treatment and may be shown applicable Google privacy messages.
For CHILD and TEEN treatment, personalized advertising and remarketing are disabled. All advertisements are limited to a maximum content rating of G.
Eligible users may review or change applicable AdMob privacy choices through the Game’s Ad privacy choices control when Google reports that this control is required. Google’s European message may offer Do not consent, Consent, and Manage options choices. Google’s US-state messages may provide applicable opt-out choices.
The one-time premium purchase and active premium subscription remove all rewarded advertisements from the Game for as long as the relevant entitlement remains active.
7. Children’s and teenagers’ privacy
The Game includes children in its target audience and follows a mixed-audience approach using a neutral age screen. The Game does not require an account, permit free-form communication, or ask children to provide direct contact details inside the Game.
The exact selected age remains on the device and is not transmitted to Google. Only the derived age-treatment category and under-age-of-consent signal are applied to Google’s advertising and consent SDKs.
For players aged 1–12, the Game applies CHILD advertising treatment. For players aged 13–17, it applies TEEN advertising treatment. Players aged 13–15 are also marked as under the age of consent, which suppresses Google’s European consent message. These settings are intended to prevent personalized advertising to children and teenagers and to apply age-appropriate advertising protections.
A parent or guardian may contact contact@hypnotizing.games with a privacy request concerning a child. If we learn that a child sent unnecessary personal information by email, we will delete it when reasonably possible unless temporary retention is required to protect the child, resolve the request through a parent or guardian, comply with law, prevent fraud, or establish or defend a legal claim.
8. Recipients and disclosures
Information may be processed by or disclosed to:
- Google, through Google Play, Google Play Billing, Google AdMob, Google UMP, Android backup and transfer services, and Android Vitals;
- SEOHOST Sp. z o.o., for website and email hosting, technical operation, security, and backups;
- professional advisers or technical contractors where reasonably necessary and subject to confidentiality and data-protection obligations;
- courts, regulators, law-enforcement authorities, or other public bodies where legally required; and
- a successor in connection with a merger, reorganization, sale, or transfer of the Game or business, subject to applicable law.
PloxTools supplies integration plugins used by the Game, but its developer has confirmed that those plugins do not collect or send telemetry or user data. PloxTools is therefore not treated as a recipient of player information in this Privacy Policy.
We do not rent personal data or sell personal data for money. We do not use support correspondence for advertising. Depending on the definitions in applicable US state law, Google’s processing for personalized advertising may be considered “sharing” or targeted advertising; eligible users can use the available Ad privacy choices to exercise applicable opt-out rights.
9. International transfers
The Developer and SEOHOST are established in Poland. Google and other providers may process information in countries outside Poland, the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or the user’s country.
Where required, international transfers must rely on a lawful mechanism such as an adequacy decision, approved contractual safeguards, the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses, or another permitted transfer mechanism. Google explains its transfer practices in its Privacy Policy.
10. Retention and deletion
- Local Game data: retained on the device until overwritten by normal gameplay, cleared through Android application settings, or removed when the Game is uninstalled.
- Selected age and local UMP values: retained in the local privacy file until the Game’s data is cleared or the Game is uninstalled. They are excluded from Android backup.
- Android backup data: retained and deleted by Google according to the user’s Google Account, backup settings, Google’s policies, Android’s backup lifecycle, and device activity. Uninstalling the Game does not necessarily immediately delete an existing Google-controlled backup.
- Purchase and subscription information: Google retains transaction and subscription information according to Google’s policies and legal obligations. The Game may cache entitlement status locally, but purchase tokens and entitlement cache data are excluded from Android backup and are not stored on a Developer-controlled server.
- Android Vitals: retained by Google according to Google’s policies and product settings. Google Play Console generally makes Android Vitals data available for limited reporting periods.
- Support correspondence: retained while the request is handled and for no longer than 6 months after the request is closed, unless longer retention is required by law or reasonably necessary for an unresolved dispute, fraud prevention, security incident, or legal claim.
- Website logs: retained according to the hosting configuration and only for as long as reasonably necessary for operation, troubleshooting, security, and legal claims. SEOHOST publicly states that hosting file backups may be available for up to 7 days.
Because the Game has no Developer-operated account, we may be unable to identify or retrieve information that remains only on a user’s device, in Google-controlled backup, or in Google’s advertising and Play services.
To remove local Game data, a user can clear the Game’s storage in Android settings or uninstall the Game. To manage or delete Android backup data, the user should use the backup controls available through Android, Google One, or the user’s Google Account. To change available advertising choices, the user should use the Game’s Ad privacy choices control when available.
11. Privacy rights
Depending on location and applicable law, users may have rights to:
- request access to personal data;
- request correction of inaccurate personal data;
- request deletion;
- restrict processing;
- object to processing based on legitimate interests;
- receive certain data in a portable format;
- withdraw consent;
- opt out of targeted advertising or data sharing where applicable;
- appeal certain privacy-request decisions where applicable; and
- lodge a complaint with a competent data-protection authority.
To exercise a right concerning information controlled by the Developer, email contact@hypnotizing.games. We may request information reasonably necessary to verify the request and locate the relevant record.
The Developer cannot directly access, correct, or delete information held only in a user’s local Game storage, Android backup, Google Play account, AdMob profile, or other Google-controlled service. Requests concerning independently controlled Google data should also be made through Google’s account and privacy controls.
Users in Poland may complain to the President of the Personal Data Protection Office (UODO):
Users in another country may contact the competent privacy or data-protection authority where they live, work, or believe a violation occurred.
12. Security
We use technical and organizational measures appropriate to the limited information we control, including restricted account access and encrypted network connections where supported.
Google states that information transmitted to its services is encrypted in transit. Android backup is protected by Google Account credentials, and some backup data may use end-to-end encryption tied to the device screen lock on supported devices and configurations.
No electronic transmission, storage, advertising service, or backup system can be guaranteed to be completely secure or continuously available.
13. Automated processing
The Game automatically converts the selected age into an advertising-treatment category and an under-age-of-consent setting. Google’s systems may automatically determine whether to show a privacy message, whether advertisements may be requested, which eligible advertisement to display, whether a reward was completed, and whether a purchase or subscription is valid.
The Developer does not use personal data for solely automated decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects on users.
14. Changes to this Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy when the Game, age logic, backup configuration, advertising settings, SDKs, purchases, service providers, legal requirements, or data practices change. The updated version will be published at:
https://hypnotizing.games/privacy-policy-2/
The effective date at the top of the policy will be changed when a revision is published. Where required, we will provide additional notice or request a new privacy choice.
15. Contact
Questions, complaints, support requests, and privacy requests may be sent to:
Email: contact@hypnotizing.games
